Government Scholarships Programme Mexico COMECYT-DAAD Master • DAAD

Objective

Graduates receive a scholarship to complete a Master’s degree in Germany.

What can be funded?

Master's programme at a German university.

Duration of the funding

The scholarships for Master's studies have a maximum duration of twenty-four (24) months.

Value

According to the cooperation agreement, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) covers the following costs and services:
  • Intensive German course in Germany with a duration of two (2) months incl. accommodation and cost of living during this period (DAAD); alternatively, accompanying German course during course of studies
  • Financing health insurance, care insurance, casualty insurance and personal liability insurance during the funding period
  • Rent subsidy
  • Refund of TestDaF or DSH exam
According to the cooperation agreement COMECYT pays the following costs:
  • monthly scholarship payments

Selection

Candidates are selected by a committee of Mexican and German scientists and academics.
